Dwight Stone joins Trinity's staff and begins leading worship on September 16, 2018. He is a composer, pianist, organist, and was the former Director of Music Ministries at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and founder of St. Paul's Concert Series in Walnut Creek, California.

Dwight is an accomplished musician.  He won first place in the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC) Composition Competition in the Advanced Pieces category with Eye on the Prize for piano solo (2015) , six more awards including piano improvisation 2014-2016, and first place with Dolphins’ World (piano solo) in 2017. He was a Finalist in the Third International Ravel Composition Competition. He is Composer-in-Residence for the Areté Singers, a professional chorus of the Bay Area, California.

The original Amsterdam book and CD (flute and piano) was featured at the Greater San Francisco International Flute Festival (2014), and the National Flute Association Convention in San Diego (2016), and at the Festival of New American Music in Sacramento (Nov. 2016). Dwight Stone performs frequently in the Bay Area in solo and ensemble, sacred and secular settings, and has performed concerts in France, Austria, Croatia, and New Zealand. Stone’s Neo Trio performs music salons in the East Bay.

The Stonemusic.us catalog includes over 50 pieces for piano, 30 compositions for mixed chorus, also for flute, brass, solo voice, orchestra, and string quartet. Commissions include Whither Thou Goest (piano solo), An Irish Blessing for women's chorus; Awake! Awake! for Men's Chorus, winning first prize in the Jewish Music Competition of Los Angeles.
